It's hard to believe that just a month ago I was on vacation in Oregon.  It all seems like a blur now so I couldn't help but take a peek at some of my photos to remember the rolling waves and sandy beaches.

As I was flipping through the images I was reminded of the  4th of July celebrations in Yachats we enjoyed. Yachats is a village of about 1000 people with loads of character a just a few miles down the road from the cabin.   

As the year comes to an end, I love to stop and reflect back over the highlights.  And what brings me joy are the many coaching clients that I’ve worked with and their successes.  Like one client who’s increased their 2013 revenue by 37%. Another has gone from selling individual $100/hour consultations to creating and enrolling clients into a $1000 program.

This past weekend I spent Saturday at the TEDxCapU event and had the opportunity to hear some great speakers share fresh ideas. The a couple really stood out for me and so here’s some thoughts that most inspired me…

Last weekend at Lisa Sasevich’s Impact & Influence event I had the opportunity to hear Robert Allen speak. I’m sure you know the name – Robert is a multiple best-selling author with some of his more recent & popular books being Multiple Streams of Income, Creating Wealth, Nothing Down and The One Minute Millionaire.

When was the last time someone connected with you?  No, not to solicit business or one of those so-called "follow up" calls after a networking event that ends up being a meaningless call or vague pitch of their services.
